A BYC member said that they had been trying to reach the mortuary for two days but were not being allowed by the police. Following the incident, the police launched raids in various parts of Quetta. Three bodies were recovered during the raids in areas like Sariab Road and Secretariat Chowk, and several people were detained.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) is a banned militant group active in the Balochistan region of Pakistan. Recently, this group attacked the Jaffar Express passenger train, in which many people lost their lives. After this, many rebels were killed in military action. After this incident, the bodies belonging to BLA were brought to the Civil Hospital in Quetta.
