90 Pakistani military personnel killed in a collision between bus and car.

At least 90 Pakistani military personnel have been killed in a collision between a bus carrying army officials and a car near Pakistan’s National Highway 40. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), responsible for the recent train hijacking, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

However, Pakistani police claimed that five people were killed and ten others injured in the attack. According to the report, the local police chief said that the attack took place in Noshki district of Balochistan. He said that another nearby bus also suffered serious damage in the blast and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

Earlier, the BLA had ambushed a train and took around 400 passengers hostage. The Pakistani government said that Baloch militants killed 26 hostages, while security forces killed all 33 attackers during a rescue operation.

Balochistan, rich in oil and mineral resources, is Pakistan’s largest and least populated province. Local residents of Balochistan have long been accusing the federal government of discrimination, although the Pakistan government has denied these claims. The BLA is demanding independence from the federal government.
