Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said in his message to the nation that the America has been making empty claims of damaging Iran’s nuclear facilities by attacking them.
The Supreme Leader said, “Whatever happened, US President Donald Trump exaggerated it.
Anyone listening to his words can tell that he was distorting the truth.”Khamenei added, “We attacked a key US base in the region and America tried to downplay it.”
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Trump made a big deal by talking about ‘surrender’ from Iran.
“The mere mention of surrender is an insult to a great country and nation like Iran.”
He said that Donald Trump mistakenly revealed a truth that Americans have been anti-Iran from the beginning.
The US military action was not about nuclear progress, but to get Iran to ‘surrender’. The core of this attack has always been the same thing, ‘Iran surrender.’
Earlier, the 86-year-old Khamenei claimed Iran’s victory in several tweets.On that tweet, he congratulated the Iranian people for their ‘victory’ over Israel and wrote,”I congratulate (Iran) for the victory over the false Jewish regime.
America went straight to war because it felt that if it did not do so, Israel would be completely destroyed.
“Khamenei added that America did not gain anything from this war and Iran emerged as a ‘winner’. Iran has ‘slapped America in the face’.
The Supreme Leader added, “Third congratulations, for the unity of the Iranian nation.” The country of nearly 90 million people stands shoulder to shoulder in support of the armed forces.
“The Iranian nation has demonstrated its unique character and shown that whenever needed, this nation will have one voice.”
