
Anderson-Tendulkar Test Series Third Match, Day 3 KL Rahul 100, Pant 74 and Ravindra Jadeja 72 played a key role in India’s batting.
The third day of the Anderson-Tendulkar Test Series was started by Indian vice-captain Rishabh Pant (74) and KL Rahul (100). Both the batsmen performed well till shortly before lunch. Shortly before lunch, Rishabh Pant was run out by Ben Stokes while trying to score 1 run. At that time, India looked in a strong position after losing 248-3 batsmen.
Immediately after lunch, Rahul (100) was out after scoring runs. After which Ravindra Jadeja (72), Nitish Kumar Reddy (30) and Washington Sundar (23) played a key role in reaching 387 with invaluable partnerships. It was the first time since 2015 that both the teams were tied in terms of score.
England bowlers CA Woakes (84-3), JC Archer (52-2) and Ben Stokes (63-2) took wickets. On this occasion, it is worth mentioning that Ben Stokes ran out Rishabh Pant. Due to which England managed to stop India at a tied score.
