Indian cricket team captain Surya Kumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first in the second match of the tournament and the opening match of the Indian cricket team at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The opening pair of the UAE team, who came to bat first after being invited to bat, made a solid start. A. Sharafu (17-22) and captain M. Waseem (22-19) combined to add 26 runs in 3.3 overs.
