In Bathinda, the body of social media star Bhabhi Kamal Kaur, also known as Kanchan Kumari on Instagram, was found in a car parked in the parking lot of Aadhesh Medical University on the Bathinda-Chandigarh National Highway last night. Initial investigation has led to the police suspecting murder. The police have taken the car into custody and sent the body for postmortem and have started examining the CCTV footage. The search for the suspect, who fled the scene, is on. Kamal Kaur’s family has been informed.

According to police sources, she was probably murdered somewhere else and her body was taken in a car registered in Ludhiana district, after which it was left in the parking area of Aadhesh Medical University.
The foul smell allegedly coming from the vehicle alerted the people nearby, who later informed the police.
Senior Superintendent of Police (Bathinda) Amneet Kondal, who reached the spot, said that a forensic team has been called to assist in the investigation.“They said that prima facie there seems to be some disturbance and an FIR is being registered under charges of murder,”
