
A youth from Budhlada who went to Canada for studies was shot dead, while his friend driving the car died due to shock.

In Edmonton city, two youths from two villages (Barhe and Udat Saidewala) associated with the Budhlada area, who went abroad to study in search of a bright future and better life, have died. Gurdeep Singh (27) from a nearby village Barhe and his friend Ranveer Singh (18) from village Udat Saidewala passed away in Edmonton.

According to the gathered information, 27-year-old Gurdeep Singh from village Barhe and his 18-year-old friend Ranveer Singh from Udat Saidewala were going to a birthday party with friends when unidentified persons suddenly opened fire on the car, killing Ranveer Singh on the spot. Meanwhile, his companion Gurdeep Singh, who was driving the car, fainted due to terror and shock, and later died.
The deaths of the youths were confirmed by their companion Arshdeep Singh, who informed both families about the incident. As soon as the news of this tragic incident reached the villages of Barhe in Budhlada and the Boha area, a wave of mourning spread. Canadian police are investigating the case. The bereaved families have demanded that the bodies of the deceased be brought back to India.
It is noteworthy that at present in Canada, the Punjabi community is being targeted through extortion, targeted killings, and violence.
