SNPNEWS.IN News Update Sep 2025: US President Donald Trump supporter and right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead during an event last night, Indian time. The incident took place at Utah Valley University in Utah. Charlie had come here for ‘The American Comeback Tour’.
Charlie Kirk is an American conservative speaker, author and political activist, who is known as the founder and president of Turning Point USA. Charlie has been considered a staunch supporter of US President Trump.
Kirk, 31, is survived by his wife Erika Frantzve and a son and a daughter.
The American Comeback Tour is a series of events organized by Turning Point USA, a conservative youth organization co-founded by Kirk. The tour, which began in 2025, aimed to engage college students in debates and discussions on political and cultural issues, including Kirk’s signature “Prove me wrong” challenge, in which he invited the audience to challenge his views.
The first leg of the tour was at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on September 10, 2025, where Kirk was shot and killed during an event.
In a viral video on social media, Charlie is seen holding a microphone under a tent and speaking, when suddenly a bullet hits him near his neck, causing him to bleed profusely and fall to the ground.
