BJP leader and state secretary Daman Thind Bajwa organized a function dedicated to the 86th Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji at Palam Plaza Palace. On this occasion, Chief Minister Haryana Naib Singh Saini and BJP Working President Punjab Mr. Ashwani Sharma specially attended.
(Sunam Udham Singh Wala 31 July 2025): Daman Thind Bajwa celebrated the 86th Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj at Palam Plaza Palace. On this occasion, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini and BJP Working President Mr. Ashwani Sharma and the BJP leadership, who specially arrived, reached the memorial of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji in Sunam-Bathinda and paid tribute to the great Shaheed Udham Singh Ji. After that, he addressed a large number of people at the Palam Plaza Palace.
Naib Singh Saini and Punjab BJP President Ashwani Sharma remembered Shaheed Udham Singh Ji and said that martyrs are the capital of any nation. They said that 21 years after the massacre of innocent people gathered in Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar in 1919, Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj Ji avenged the death of innocent Indians by killing British officer General O’Dwyer at Caxton Hall in England in 1940. The opportunity to pay homage at the birthplace of Shaheed Udham Singh has been given due to the efforts of our sister and State Secretary Daman Thind Bajwa.
While paying homage to Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, we thank Daman Thind Bajwa, thanks to whom we came face to face with the people of Sunam Udham Singh Wala.
Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial was constructed due to the efforts of Daman Thind Bajwa. Which can be considered as her biggest achievement. In his address, Daman paid tribute to the martyr and thanked Naib Singh Saini and BJP President Ashwani Sharma besides all BJP leaders and workers for participating in the event.
In addition to the maintenance of the ancestral house of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, he expressed his commitment to build a modern museum and theater at the Shaheed Yadgar Bathinda Road. Daman finally said that he has a dream. Like the memorial of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji at Hussainiwala, a modern memorial of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji should be built in Sunam.Therefore, she is constantly working in liaison with the Indian government’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
