DSP Patiala Police Satnam Singh’s 22-year-old son Ekamveer Singh dies in Bhawanigarh road accident
Last night at around 1:30 am, an accident occurred due to the imbalance of a car on Bhawanigarh Patiala Road. Two youths were travelling in this car. Ekamveer Singh, son of Dsp Patiala Satnam Singh, aged 22, died in the accident and another youth Harjot Singh, aged 23, was seriously injured.
SSF ASI Jaswinder Singh, who reached the spot, said that both the youths were travelling in a car. The car lost its balance on the flyover at village Phagguwala Kainchiyan in Bhawanigarh and the car went out of control and overturned.

The concerned officer said that the accident happened at around 1:34 am last night. On receiving information, he reached with his team at 1:40 am. After much struggle, both the youths were taken out of the vehicle and taken to the hospital. Where Ekamveer was declared dead by the doctors and the condition of the other youth was considered serious and he was referred to Patiala.
The father of the deceased youth Ekamveer Singh, Satnam Singh, is serving as DSP in Patiala Police and is a resident of Patiala. Earlier, Sunam had also served as SHO.
