Fertilizer Companies Are Looting UREA DAP Retailers & Farmers On A Large Scale Under The Nose Of The Government.

Farmer Update 2025: Fertilizer companies and rake handlers are tagging Unnecessary goods with UREA & DAP on a large scale or charging 20-25% more than MRP.

During the last 2-3 years, fertilizer companies are forcibly tagging unnecessary fertilizers like Sulpur, Micoraza, Nano UREA, Nano DAP, Bio Potash, Prom with UREA & DAP and selling them to rake handlers. Who are then forced to tag them to retailers and farmers.

The situation has deteriorated to this point. Retail fertilizer sellers are forced to buy both fertilizers at a price 20-25% higher than MRP instead of buying the above mentioned products with UREA & DAP.

The officials from the Block Agriculture Officer to the higher officials are well aware of the unauthorized Tagging of fertilizers by fertilizer companies. But no one dares to take any action.

The officials harass the retailers for Fertilizers supply. They are threatened not to tag them and to take samples of the materials forcibly tagged by fertilizer companies.

Do the officials have no authority to check the records of rake handlers and fertilizer companies?

The market rates of the products forcibly tagged by fertilizer companies are 20-70% lower. Fertilizer companies are making huge profits from products like PROM, Bio-Potash, Micoraza, NPK.

Here the questions arise on both the central and state governments. You promise to give subsidy to farmers from the tax of more than 140 crore people of the country, but where is it?

At present, UREA is being sold in wholesale at 290-340 and DAP at 1600-1700. Due to which the retailers and Farmers are being forced to pay more than MRP to fertilizer companies and rake handlers.
