The shopkeepers of the bus stand should appeal to the 2-3 shopkeepers present at that place to give that place to the concerned department and take the fixed price and shift the shops to the place indicated by the government. The concerned department is ready to renovate the bus stand.

During all this issue, representatives of Bathinda Road, Namol, Singhpura, Tibbi, Bhagwanpura, and many social service organizations gathered at Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial Bathinda Road and demanded that the bus stand be shifted to the cattle market land located near the electricity grid on Bathinda Road. They said that this government land of 6-7 acres is lying vacant, shifting the bus stand to this place will get rid of the traffic problem in the city and the fear of accidents due to buses will also reduce. Apart from this, the people gathered said that shifting the bus stand to Bathinda Road will also reduce the problems of passengers coming from outside and the government hospital will also come closer for the patients.
Apart from this, the people gathered said that we have no opposition to anyone, everyone has the right to demand as per their own. If the bus stand is shifted, then the old shopkeepers of the bus stand should be given space to do business in the shifted bus stand on priority basis.
