Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 58 runs in the 23rd match of IPL.
Gujarat scored 217 runs after losing 6 wickets. Gujarat had a good start, the first blow to the team came in the form of the wicket of captain Subman Gill at the score of 14 in 2.1 overs. After which S. Sudharsan (53-82), J. Buttler (26-36), S. Khan (20-36), R. Tewatia (12-24)* and R. Khan (4-12) performed brilliantly and the team’s score was 217 runs at 6. Played an important role in reaching the wicket. For RR team, bowlers T. Deshpande (4-53-2) and M. Theekshana (4-54-2) tried to fight to some extent against Gujarat Titans.
Batsmen S. Hetmyer (32-52), S. Samson (28-41) and R. Parag (14-26) tried to fight against Gujarat Titans to some extent. Apart from these three, no other batsman could cross the mark of 10, due to which Rajasthan Royals team was all out for 159 runs in 19.2 overs.
Gujarat Titans bowlers P. Krishna (4-24-3), R. Sai Kishore (2.2-20-2) and R. Khan (4-37-2) gave Gujarat its 4th win of IPL 2025.
