Madhya Pradesh: Rape Of A Body Brought For Postmortem, Incident Of April 2024

A report revealing the government claims has come out from Madhya Pradesh, where a person was caught on CCTV camera trying to rape a body brought for postmortem in a hospital.

SNPNEWS.IN News Update (Gurmail Kamboj): A shameful incident has come out from Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh, where an incident of rape of a body brought for postmortem in the morgue of a hospital has come to light.

According to the information received, a person entered the morgue and dragged the body of a woman from the morgue and laid it on a stretcher in the morgue premises and tried to rape the body, and was caught on CCTV camera.

During the investigation of the camera installed in the morgue of the hospital, it was found that on April 18, 2024, a person entered the morgue run by the Government hospital, Khaknar Community Health Center in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, and tried to rape a woman by biting her body from the morgue and making her lie on a stretcher in the premises.

When the incident came to light during the investigation of the camera, Dr. Adiya Dawar, a medical officer of the Government hospital, filed a complaint with the police, on which the police registered an FIR under various sections of the BNS.

During the investigation, it was found that Nilesh Bhilala (25 years) of village Tangiyapat, Bhauraghat had committed this incident. The police arrested the accused and presented him in the court.

Khaknar police station in-charge Abhishek Jadhav said that the police have arrested the accused and started further action by obtaining remand from the court. He said that they will investigate how the accused entered the morgue.
