Recently, he was seen questioning the government and the current administration due to the non-repair of the roads in Sunam constituency. Apart from this, he went live on the funds being used for the repair of the Sunam old grain market’s heritage gate and the problem of drinking water in the city wards and other issues. After which the discussion started that Manpreet Singh waraich is willing to contest the 2027 assembly elections.
Today, Manpreet Singh’s preparations to contest the election got a boost when he met former Sangrur MLA and minister Vijayinder Singla.
Due to the hard work and efforts made by Manpreet Singh Waraich, today under the leadership of former cabinet minister Vijayinder Singla, Balwinder Singh Boga (former councilor) Sunam, Hardev Singh Sohni, Malkit Singh President Palledar Union, Omi Kohli President Sadh Baradari, Yashdeep Brar, Arpit Gara Airi, Jagpal Kohli, Sarwan, Sukhdev, Shankar joined the Congress party.
Talking after this meeting and the workers joining in the congress party, Manpreet Singh said that in the coming days we will be committed to intensify activities by taking every section along to strengthen the Congress party at the grassroots level in the Sunam constituency. The kind of atmosphere that is being created. People have become disillusioned with the current government. Therefore, in 2027, the people of Punjab are looking enthusiastic to completely sideline the Aam Aadmi Party and form the government of the Congress party.
