On Monday, a bulldozer was used on the house of Fahim Khan, the main accused in the Nagpur’ India violence over the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb.
Bulldozer Runs Over Accused’s House, The Nagpur Municipal Corporation had given him 24 hours to remove the illegal construction on his own, which was completed today.
This house located in Sanjay Bagh Colony, Yashodhara Nagar, Nagpur is in the name of Faheem Khan’s wife. The Municipal Corporation had issued a notice regarding irregularities in the building plan approval.
In fact, a case of treason has been registered against 6 accused including mastermind Faheem in the case of violence over the removal of Aurangzeb’s tomb. Faheem is accused of gathering more than 500 rioters and promoting violence.

At present, Faheem is in police custody. Earlier on March 21, Faheem Khan had filed a petition in the sessions court for bail. Faheem claimed that he was arrested due to political vendetta because he had demanded action against Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers.

On Saturday, the fifth day of violence, CM Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference in Nagpur. He said that the losses caused by the violence will be recovered by selling the property of the rioters. If needed, bulldozers will also be used.
He said that the victims will soon be compensated for their losses. The harshest sections will be imposed against those who attacked the police. On the opposition’s allegation, he said that the violence was not an intelligence failure or a political conspiracy.
