It is being claimed that in the greed of money, the tour operators and hotel owners took the tourists to Baisran without informing the administration.

Before the all-party meeting, Prime Minister Modi, while addressing a public meeting after a program in Madhubani, Bihar, said that India will identify every terrorist and their supporters involved in the Pahalgam attack and they will be punished more than they can imagine.

He said that terrorists will not be spared under any circumstances and every possible effort will be made to ensure justice. No one will be able to break India’s morale.

The Narendra Modi government at the Centre told in an all-party meeting on Thursday that the Pahalgam attack was done with the motive of spoiling the atmosphere in the valley because due to the situation becoming normal in Jammu and Kashmir, the economy was growing rapidly and the tourism sector was growing steadily.

According to sources, in the all-party meeting led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, many leaders including the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of security lapse at the tourist spot.

They also questioned why security personnel were not deployed there. Like Rahul, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge also questioned whether there was a security lapse and why the government did not take immediate action after the attack.

In this meeting, the government admitted the security lapses and said that despite the deployment of security forces in Pahalgam, local tour guides and hotel owners took tourists to the area of ​​the valley where the attack took place, without informing the local administration and the security forces present in Pahalgam, and took the tourists to the area of ​​the valley and the hilly area, which can be reached on foot or by horse.
