
The dispute between Afghanistan and Pakistan continues unabated. Today morning, Pak launched attacks targeting the Taliban headquarters and 4 TTP locations in Afghanistan, in which 12 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
SNPNEWS.IN News Update (Gurmail Kamboj): Tensions between Pak and Afghanistan have been ongoing since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, and these tensions have taken a deadly form in the month of October.
Due to border disputes and allegations of providing shelter to TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan), Pak conducted aerial strikes on Afghanistan on 9-11 October, targeting TTP leader Noor Wali Mehsud. In these strikes, 2 TTP leaders were killed.

In retaliation, the Taliban in Afghanistan attacked 20-25 Pak’s posts on 11-12 October and captured them. During the Taliban attacks, 58 Pak soldiers were killed. After this clash, Pak claimed to have killed more than 200 Taliban fighters and closed the border.
To respond to the Taliban’s actions, Pak launched attacks this morning from 8:15 AM to 9:45 AM (Kabul time) in Kandahar and areas near the Pakistan border. In these attacks, Pak targeted the Taliban headquarters and 4 suspected TTP locations. During this attack, 12-15 Afghan civilians, 6 TTP fighters, and (6 Pakistani soldiers in Taliban counter-attack) were killed, and 120 Afghan civilians and 15 Pakistani soldiers were injured.
