All parties are putting in full effort for the upcoming elections in Bihar next month. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen seeking votes in Bihar on the issues of Bihari pride and his own security.
SNPNEWS.IN News (Gurmail Kamboj): For the Bihar Assembly elections, 7.42 crore voters (on November 6 and November 11) will exercise their voting rights. To woo them, the ruling alliance NDA, Mahagathbandhan, AAP, and several other small and large parties are making vigorous efforts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Muzaffarpur and Chhapra in Bihar today (October 30) for election campaigning. Here, he targeted the Congress alliance and the former Chief Minister of Punjab.

PM Modi targeted Punjab’s former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who is campaigning for the Congress alliance in Bihar, and said:
“Congress has honored those people who used insulting language against the PM Modi. Those who said ‘there was no danger to the PM’, Congress has brought them into its campaign today. This is the politics of illusion, which plays with the country’s security.”
The controversial issue referred to by PM Narendra Modi dates back to January 5, 2022, when the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to address a BJP election rally in Punjab (Firozpur). On the way, his convoy was stuck for 15-20 minutes on a flyover at Hussainiwala because farmer union workers had blocked the road ahead.

This was considered a major lapse in the Prime Minister’s security, after which the BJP targeted the then Congress government and Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, accusing them of hatching a deliberate conspiracy and even demanding Channi’s arrest. After the Firozpur incident, both the central and Punjab governments formed inquiry commissions, but the Supreme Court stayed them.
Following this incident, former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi later stated:
“The PM leads the entire country; he had no danger from his own people (farmers). He was safe in Punjab.”
PM Modi today raised this very statement in a Bihar election rally to target Channi and Congress. Apart from this, the Prime Minister was also seen allegedly engaging in hate speech. He said that when Channi was saying that migrants should not be allowed to come to Punjab, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi was clapping in joy; today, she is asking for votes in Bihar.
The PM dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s claim about the Yamuna river being polluted and said that by speaking about Yamuna’s pollution, he insulted Chhath Maiya. “What do they know about the importance of Chhath?”
