The meeting between Majithia and the Dera chief lasted approximately 35-40 minutes. The Majithia family and the Dera chief share a very close and deep relationship, but this meeting has sparked discussions in political circles.
Amid allegations of drug trafficking and disproportionate assets against Majithia, the meeting with the Radha Soami Beas chief has led to speculations that the Dera chief might be facilitating efforts for Majithia’s release or possibly mediating an alliance with the central government (BJP) ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
