Sangrur, July 16: Providing great convenience to the common people, the Punjab Government has made 05 services related to the revenue department and 30 services related to driving license and RC of the transport department available at the service centers.
Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Rishi said that Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann, in a major relief to the people of Punjab, has announced that now the services like deed registration, drafting of deed, submission of deed for pre-examination, payment of stamp duty, request for mutation (on the basis of inheritance or registered deed), request for entry of reports (related to court orders, bank loan mortgage or waiver of bank loans/mortgage), request for Fard Badar (correction in records), request for digitally signed Fard and 16 services related to driving license and 14 services related to RC will now be available from the service center.
He said that citizens who cannot come to the service center can avail these services by dialing the phone number 1076 and get the benefit of these services sitting at home through door step delivery.
The services related to driving license include services related to learner licenses, such as new application, change of address, change of name, duplicate learner license, etc. Apart from the license, services related to driving licenses like duplicate license, renewal (where there is no need to go to the test track), replacement, change of address, change of name, correction of date of birth, driving license extract previsioning, license surrender, badge of public service vehicle, renewal of conductor license, extension of duration of learner license, international driving permit, etc.
RC related services include duplicate RC, change of ownership of non-commercial vehicle, continuation of hire purchase (in case of change of ownership/change of name), endorsement of hire purchase agreement, fitness certificate of commercial vehicles (heavy/medium/three wheeler/four wheeler/LMV), payment of additional life time tax (in case of change of ownership), RC details These include NOC for RC, update of mobile number in transport services record, change of address in RC, change in vehicle and termination of hire purchase agreement.
