SNPNEWS.IN News Canada (Gurmail Kamboj): Nancy Grewal (45 years old), a social media influencer and resident of Windsor, Canada, was stabbed and killed on Todd Lane in LaSalle, Ontario, around 9:30 p.m. on the night of March 3.
Nancy Grewal often remained in the news due to her controversial videos, as she created content on YouTube and other platforms against Khalistan supporters and leaders. She openly spoke on issues related to Punjabi politics, the Sikh community, and the Khalistan movement.

Through her videos, she criticized Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun multiple times and made controversial remarks against the Canadian government (especially former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau) for supporting this movement. She frequently addressed Khalistan supporters living in Canada, saying, “If you live here (in Canada), then create Khalistan in Canada, not in India.” Because of this, she was targeted by Khalistan supporters and had received some threats.
The lead investigator of the LaSalle Police Service’s investigation team, Detective Sergeant Jamie Nestor, has appealed to the public that if anyone has any information about this murder, they should contact Detective Sergeant Jamie Nestor (Phone: 519-969-5210 ext. 2531).
LaSalle Police Chief Michael Pearce also issued a statement expressing sympathy to the victim’s family and describing the incident as an isolated event.
