During the state-level function organized by the Punjab Government on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Aman Arora, Harpal Cheema and Punjab Cabinet Ministers, besides other dignitaries were present for paid tribute to the martyr.
31 July 2025 Sunam Shaheed Udham Singh Wala: The 86th Martyrdom Day of the country’s great martyr and freedom fighter Shaheed Udham Singh Ji is being celebrated with great devotion by Punjabis living in the country and abroad.
Today, the Punjab government organized a state-level function dedicated to Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, during which Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Aman Arora, Harpal Cheema and other dignitaries from the Punjab Cabinet were present and paid tribute to the martyr. This program was presided over by MLA Goldie Kamboj.
During this program, the Punjab government honored the family members of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, and the government announced Projects worth Rs. 85 crore at Sunam Udham Singh Wala.

Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, reached the martyrdom memorial of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji and obtained information related to the life of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji and remembered his sacrifice.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, while talking after paying homage to Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, said that he feels honored and considers himself lucky because he was born in the area of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji. Recalling the life and struggle of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, the Chief Minister said that our martyrs are a source of inspiration for us. If we try to follow in their footsteps even a little, then we will see a different change in our lives.
