Sunam Police Administration freezes under-construction house of Lakhwinder Kaur Lakho, who is in jail on charges of drug supply
Sunam Udham Singh Wala: Today DSP and SHO Sunam along with a police party reached Lakhwinder Kaur, a woman from Indira Basti, to put up a notice on the under-construction house located in a colony on Jakhal Road of Lakho. Talking on the occasion, DSP Sunam said that this action is part of the Punjab government’s campaign against drugs, the war on drugs.

DSP Sunam said that 10 cases have already been registered against the owner of this house, Lakhwinder Kaur Lakho, wife of Jagga Singh, resident of Indira Basti Sunam. The woman concerned is still in jail in the case of recovery of more than 230 grams of narcotics. He said that orders have also been issued to freeze 2 bank accounts of the woman concerned in addition to this house.
DSP Sunam said that as per the guidelines of the Punjab Government and DGP Punjab, under the leadership of SSP Sangrur, the Sunam administration has so far registered more than 3 dozen cases and arrested 40+ persons under the campaign against drugs and the youth who were addicted to drugs are being treated at the Civil Hospital Sangrur.
