A false rumor of US President Donald Trump’s death has spread on social media, the flags on US government buildings being flown at half-mast are being linked to this rumor.

SNPNEWS.IN News Update 2025: The rumor of US President Donald Trump’s death has spread on social media. In fact, President Trump has been staying away from public events for several days. Due to which rumors spread on August 29-30 that Trump is no longer in this world.

Apart from this, during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, a blue mark was seen on Trump’s hand. After this, speculations about the president’s health increased on social media.

Recently, 2 children died and 17 were injured in the attack at a Minneapolis school. The culprit of this attack also died. The US government announced that the flags on US government buildings would be flown at half-staff until August 31 in mourning for the attack. That was enough to prove the rumor true.

The 79-year-old Trump faces constant scrutiny about his physical condition. In July 2025, the White House confirmed that he had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a common circulation problem in older adults that causes swelling in the legs and bruising (as seen on his hands from frequent handshakes and aspirin use).

His doctor, Dr. Sean Barbabella, described it as “mild and normal,” with no life-threatening complications after extensive tests, including a heart scan.

White House Response: Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt called the rumors false and “baseless” in a briefing.

US Vice President JD Vance praised Trump’s “incredibly good health” and energy, saying he was “absolutely fine.” But “we are prepared if a ‘terrible tragedy’ occurs.” The comment about the presidential succession was used to send some ominous signals on social media and fueled conspiracy theories.
