BJP’s has made young leader and state secretary Daman Thind Bajwa the president of Sangrur Zone-2, will BJP field him as a candidate to represent Sunam constituency in the 2027 elections?
(NEWS UPDATE BY SNPNEWS.IN ON 4-8-2025): A meeting of BJP leaders and office bearers was held at Shiv Niketan Dharamshala of Sunam Udham Singh Wala. During which BJP state secretary and long-time leader in Sunam constituency Daman Thind Bajwa was given the presidency of Sangrur Zone-2.
After Daman Thind Bajwa was given the presidency, the meeting started looking like a rally.As the news of Daman Thind Bajwa getting the presidency spread, a large number of well-wishers reached the meeting venue and congratulated Daman Thind Bajwa on his presidency.
As soon as the news of Daman’s presidency spread in Sunam, a large number of people, apart from the workers associated with BJP or Daman, as well as the residents of Sunam, have started looking at Daman as a possible candidate for the BJP’s 2027 assembly elections.
Apart from the people’s discussion, Daman’s candidacy has started being talked about on social media at a large scale. It remains to be seen whether the BJP will live up to the expectations of the people of the constituency and party workers or whether the central and state leadership will fulfill the wishes of the people. If Daman is given a ticket, the contest will become very interesting.
