Mumbai Indians Third Defeated During The IPL 2025

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl against Lucknow Super Giants during the 16th match of IPL at Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground.

LSG got off to a flying start, with openers M. Marsh (31-60) and A. Markram (38-53) putting on 76 runs in the first 7 overs. After M. Marsh was dismissed, Mumbai tried to come back, during which LSG lost 2 important batsmen by scoring 31 runs in the next 3.4 overs.

A. Badoni (19-39) and D. Miller (14-27) played a key role in LSG’s score reaching 203. LSG lost 8 batsmen in 20 overs. Out of which Mumbai Indians all-rounder and captain H Pandya (4-36-5) sent 5 batsmen to the pavilion.

But Mumbai’s team could only score 191 runs in 20 overs after losing 5 batsmen, due to which Mumbai Indians lost the match to LSG by 12 runs. T. Varma (23-25 ​​Ret.) and both the openers played a major role in this defeat of Mumbai Indians.

LSG bowler D. Singh played a significant role in restricting Mumbai Indians’ batting unit to 191.  Out of the 5 bowlers used by LSG, D. Singh was the only one who allowed Mumbai Indians to score runs at a run rate of less than 6. All the other batsmen were bowled out by Mumbai Indians batsmen.
