RCB & LSG won in close contests. The 20th match of IPL 2025 was played between Mumbai Indians and Royals Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai yesterday. Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s 1st batsmen P. Salt bowled out by Mumbai Indians bowler Trent Boult on the 2nd ball of the innings. After which V. Kohli (42-67) and D. Padikkal (22-37) put on a 91-run partnership, which gave RCB a strong foundation. After which, thanks to the stormy innings of R. Patidar (32-64) and J. Sharma (19-40)*, RCB managed to score 221 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. H. Pandya (4-45-2) and T. Boult (4-57-2) were somewhat successful bowlers for the Mumbai Indians team.

Mumbai Indians batsmen started well. Their two batsmen Rohit Sharma (9-17) and R. Rickelton (10-17) went to the pavilion after scoring 38 runs in 3.4 overs. After which W. Jacks (18-22), S. Yadav (26-28), T. Varma (29-56) and H. Pandya (15-42) tried to fight back. Due to which MI came very close to the target of RCB’S team but finally lost by 12 runs. During this match, K. Pandya (4-45-4) was the most successful bowler of RCB.

Lucknow Super Giants started the innings with a bang against the Kolkata Knight Riders bowling attack. LSG’s first batsman A. Markram (28-47) was dismissed after scoring runs, followed by M. Marsh (48-81) and N. Pooran (36-87)* who kept the KKR bowlers busy, helping LSG score 238 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. The most successful bowler for KKR was H. Rana (4-51-2).
