Sangrur, May 7 (Gurmail Kamboj), As early as 4 pm in Sangrur district, a mock drill was conducted at two places in the district, Indian Oil Depot and Government Ranbir College, to practice protecting yourself during an air attack. In this regard, a siren was sounded at both the places at 3 and 4 pm respectively, after which this exercise began. At both places, this exercise lasted for half an hour and ended with another siren.

During this exercise, it was practiced that if an air attack occurs, if you are in the open, then reach inside a building as soon as possible.

If you are in a multi-storey building, then come to the lower floor. Turn off all lights and do not use any light. If there is no building near you, then take shelter under a tree. If you are driving a vehicle, then leave the vehicle and get down. If you do not have any place to take shelter, then lie down on the ground with your chest and close your ears with your fingers. Do not use any light during this time.
