International News: You decide, Donald Trump himself has a self-aggrandizing statement on Truth Social.
International News: Donald Trump began his statement by saying, “Iran and Israel should make a deal and they will.” Trump claimed, “Just as I made a deal between India and Pakistan, I can make a deal between these two.”
Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social, “In the case of India and Pakistan, I used America’s trade relations to bring logic, understanding and wisdom to the negotiations between two great leaders, they made a decision right away and they stopped. (i.e. stopped the war).”
(Trump has said on several occasions before that he brokered a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. After the recent conflict between India and Pakistan, where Pakistan thanked the US for the ceasefire, India has so far not said anything about the US’s direct role in the ceasefire.)
Donald Trump then gave a few more examples and wrote that he prevented tensions from escalating between Serbia and Kosovo, as well as between Egypt and Ethiopia.
He added (Biden has damaged long-term prospects with some very foolish decisions, but I will fix it again!)
He wrote, “During my first term, Serbia and Kosovo had been in a state of high tension for decades and this long-standing tension was about to turn into war. But I stopped it.”
After this, Donald Trump mentioned Egypt and Ethiopia, writing that there was a dispute between the two over a dam, which was affecting the Nile River. He said, “There is peace there for now after my intervention.”
Donald Trump wrote, “Similarly, there will be peace between Israel and Iran soon. Many meetings are taking place, constant phone conversations are taking place.”
Donald Trump cried when the goodness he did was not appreciated,
“I do a lot but I don’t get the credit for it. But I think people understand that.”
