Bhagwan Das Arora's 25th Death Anniversary

Sandhwan, Khudiyan and other prominent personalities remembered the valuable contribution made by Late Babu Bhagwan Das Arora in the field of social service.

On the occasion of the 25th death anniversary of Babu Bhagwan Das Arora, a tribute function was organized at the local Guru Nanak Dev Dental College, Lakhmirwala Road, Sunam Udham Singh Wala, in which Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Cabinet Ministers Mr. Gurmit Singh Khuddian, Gurdit Singh Sekhon, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, Chetan Singh Jojmajra, Ashok Parashar Pappi, Davinderjit Singh Ladi Dhos, Gurpreet Singh Bananwali, Dr. Charanjit Channi, Dalvir Singh Tong, Kuljit Singh Randhawa, Dr. Vijay Singla, Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar, Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Narinder Kaur Bharaj, Kulwant Singh Pandori (all MLAs),

Harpal Kaur (mother of Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann) and other personalities paid floral tributes to the departed soul and remembered his valuable contribution in the field of social service.

On this occasion, a free dental and medical camp was also organized in the warm memory of Babu Bhagwan Das Arora. Thousands of people of the area took advantage of this camp.

Addressing the tribute ceremony, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that Babu Bhagwan Das Arora achieved the fortune of becoming a beacon for others by doing unparalleled work in the field of education and health.

The contribution of Babu Bhagwan Das Arora can never be forgotten and his son Aman Arora is also dedicated to public service with complete honesty and hard work like his father. He said that Babu Bhagwan Das had established this dental college here with the resolve of serving the area so that the people of this place could get state-of-the-art treatment facilities. Making money was not the aim of Babu Bhagwan Das Arora. The sapling planted 30 years ago has today become a tree whose shade many people are enjoying.

He said that the noble souls who are active for the welfare of humanity are always remembered and this tribute event dedicated to their warm memory is a clear proof of the noble achievements they have made in life.He said that those who work for the good of humanity are always remembered.

The Arora family has always helped the poor and the needy with a good heart and following in the footsteps of Babu Bhagwan Das Arora, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora is also engaged in public service with full dedication. Babu Bhagwan Das Arora was a good-hearted person and Aman Arora is engaged in successfully completing the undertaking he had taken to beautify the area.

He said that it is only due to the prayers of parents that a person reaches great heights and the event organized by Cabinet Minister Aman Arora every year to keep the memory of his father Babu Bhagwan Das Arora fresh expresses his warm thoughts towards his father.

Finally, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora thanked the congregation and said that even after 25 years of his father’s eternal separation, the pro-people work done by his father continues to be respected and honored, which has been possible only due to the great grace of God.

Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that he is constantly working towards making the Sunam assembly constituency a leading constituency in the state as a model constituency.

During the tribute ceremony, he thanked all the personalities and congregation on behalf of his entire family, including his mother Parameshwari Devi and sister Radhika Arora.

On this occasion, the Raagi Jatha of Raagi Bahadur Singh Ji delighted the congregation with the kirtan of divine hymns.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Shri Sandeep Rishi, District Police Chief Sartaj Singh Chahal, Sub Divisional Magistrate Sunam Parmod Singla, DSP Harvinder Singh Khaira, Sandeep Gilhotra along with chairmen of various institutions and corporations from across Punjab, a large number of chairmen of market committees, municipal council presidents, panch sarpanches of the area along with other office bearers and councilors, party leaders and workers were present in a grand gathering. Avtar Singh Elwal, Chairman Nagar Sudhar Trust Sangrur, played the role of stage management during the event.
