Punjab is facing the brunt of floods due to the bad policies of the government and administration. AAP MLA Pathanmajra openly put the officials of the canal department and the government in the dock.
SNPNEWS.IN Update Sep 2025: The Majha and Doaba regions of Punjab have been hit by floods and are on the verge of destruction. Continuous rains and the water of the Ravi Beas river is flowing out of control, as a result of which (more than 1000 villages, crops standing in 3-5 lakh acres of land, thousands of houses, death of about 2 dozen people, thousands of livestock and government and non-government property worth thousands of crores of rupees) have fallen victim to the floods.
Apart from this, due to continuous rains in Puadh and nearby hilly areas, the canals, Sutlej, Ghaggar and rain water channels of Anandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, Patiala, Sangrur and adjoining areas are filling up to the danger mark. Which can become a big challenge.
Since the day the rains started and the floods occurred. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia left Punjab and sat in Delhi, who did not say a single word for the flood-affected Punjab. Due to which the people of Punjab were continuously asking questions to the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Today, Kejriwal shared a post from his official account in which he is asking AAP workers to go to the houses of Delhi and collect relief materials for the flood victims.

According to information, a case under Section 376 has been registered against Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra and he has been arrested by the police.
