In Jagraon, Ludhiana, criminals shot a Kabaddi player just a short distance from the SSP office. The young man died due to the gunshot wound.
SNPNEWS.IN News (Gurmail Kamboj): The law and order situation in Punjab is deteriorating day by day. Criminals show no fear of the law or administration. The latest example of the skyrocketing confidence of criminals occurred on Hari Singh Road in Ludhiana, which is just a short distance from the SSP office, where a 23-year-old Kabaddi player, Tejpal Singh, resident of Giddarwindi, was shot dead in broad daylight.
According to information, 4-5 individuals arrived in a white Swift Dzire car to carry out the crime, just a short distance from the SSP office. They first rammed the victim’s vehicle to stop it, then got out of their car and beat the deceased for 15-20 minutes. Afterward, they shot Tejpal in the chest and fled the scene.

Injured, Tejpal was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the spot and, after examining CCTV footage from nearby areas, began the search for the accused. The investigating officer stated that they received information about a fight involving 4-5 youths on Hari Singh Road, Jagraon, at 2:50 PM. After the fight, the accused shot Tejpal, and he died on the spot.
There had been long-standing enmity between the deceased and the attackers. They had fought two or three times before the incident. No complaint had been lodged with the police earlier. The accused (Kala, Honey), who are associated with Roomi village near Jagraon, are reportedly two brothers. In addition, one accused is Gagan (resident of Moga), and the fourth accused has not yet been named, but the police have identified him as well. Teams have been dispatched to arrest the accused. The culprits will be caught soon.
