Israel targeted the Russian Cultural Center in Lebanon and Iran’s Bank Sepah with missiles, resulting in several deaths.
SNPNEWS.IN News (Gurmail Kamboj): On the 12th day of the America-Israel-Iran war, Israel launched a missile attack on the administrative building/data center of Bank Sepah on Hagani Highway in Tehran. At the time of the attack, bank employees were working, and several of them were killed. Iranian media (Mehr, IRNA) described it as an “American-Zionist attack.”
The spokesperson for Khatam al-Anbiya (Iran’s military central headquarters), Ebrahim Zolfaqari, announced today (March 11, 2026) that economic centers and banks linked to America and Israel are now open targets.
He stated: “This illegal and extraordinary attack has given us a free hand to target banks and economic centers of America and the Zionist regime (Israel) in the region. Americans should await our painful retaliatory action.” He advised people in (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia) to stay at least 1 kilometer away from banks.
Following this threat, Citi Bank (American) in Dubai began evacuating its employees. HSBC in Qatar closed its branches or increased security. Some reports indicate that companies like Deloitte and PwC are also relocating employees from Dubai. If Iran actually carries out a retaliatory attack, it would be a major escalation, as striking international banks in the Gulf could shake the global economy and markets.

Additionally, Israel targeted a Russian Cultural Center building in Lebanon on March 9-10. This incident occurred in the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, a strong Hezbollah area. Russia’s international cooperation agency Rossotrudnichestvo stated that the Israeli air strike destroyed the “partner Russian House.”
Russia described this attack as an unprovoked act of aggression. The building’s director, Assaad Deia, and employees had already been evacuated, so there were no casualties. Israel is continuously striking Hezbollah positions in Beirut and other areas.
Russia has taken this very seriously because it is an attack on the property of a UN Security Council permanent member and a nuclear power. Russia has not yet taken any direct military retaliatory action but has condemned it and issued a statement. Russia is indirectly supporting Iran but is not directly involved in this war. This attack could further worsen Russia-Israel relations.
