Punjab AAP's Arora's also going to BJP- Bikramjit Majithia

Akali Dal leader Bikramjit Singh Majithia has sparked a new discussion in Punjab (Punjab Aap) politics by sharing a post on social media ‘AAP’s Arora’s also going to BJP.

SNPNEWS.IN News (Punjab): 7 Rajya Sabha members including AAP’s Punjab (Raghav Chadha, Harbhajan Singh, Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, Vikramjit Singh Sahni, Sanjeev Arora, Rajinder Gupta and Swati Maliwal from Delhi) have said goodbye to the party and joined the BJP, after which there is a fear of AAP’s breakup in Punjab, which has been further fueled by the post ‘AAP’s Arora’s also going to BJP’ made by Akali leader Bikramjit Majithia.

This post shared by Majithia today has indicated that not everything is right within the Aam Aadmi Party, after which people are seeing different reactions and people are making assumptions about (Arora) at their own level. In the coming days, the Punjab government and AAP may have to face challenges from within and outside the party.

National channel Republic TV published a report claiming that Raghav Chadha himself has claimed to the BJP leadership that he has 63 MLAs in contact. Apart from this, State Congress President Amarinder Raja Warring claimed in a statement that not only Rajya Sabha members, but about 50 AAP MLAs may also be in contact with the BJP. He warned the party that this defection may increase further.

AAP leaders/MLAs have termed these claims as baseless and said that all the MLAs are standing with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann like a rock.

Chief Minister Mann has called the members joining BJP “traitors of Punjab”. He wrote in a Punjabi post that 7 things like ginger, garlic and chilli can enhance the taste of vegetables, but these things alone cannot become “vegetables”. He said that the people of Punjab will never forget or forgive these 7 names.

Sanjay Singh said that he will write a letter to the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha demanding the disqualification of the membership of these members. According to him, the BJP has launched ‘Operation Lotus’ to weaken the elected government of Punjab. He questioned Raghav Chadha’s claims of ‘honesty’ and said that the public will laugh at such things.

AAP workers protested outside the houses of Harbhajan Singh, Ashok Mittal and Rajinder Gupta in Ludhiana and Jalandhar and wrote “traitor” on their walls.
