President Trump gets angry at the question asked by CBS News senior correspondent and 60 Minutes anchor Norah O’Donnell about ‘Epstein Files’ in the White House
SNPNEWS.IN News (International): On Saturday, April 25, 2026, a shooting incident took place at the Washington Hilton Hotel on the night of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) dinner. The suspect in the shooting, Cole Tomas Allen, had sent a 1052-word manifesto to his family members via email 10 minutes before the incident, in which he accused President Trump of being connected to the ‘Epstein Files’.
Washington Hilton Hotel suspect Cole Tomas Allen pushed towards the security checkpoint and opened fire. He was immediately arrested by security forces after the incident. No one was injured in the incident, Vice President JD Vance, President Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump were immediately escorted out of the ballroom by security agents.
US President Donald Trump got angry after some questions asked by CBS News’ Episode 60 Minutes anchor Norah O’Donnell after yesterday’s incident. When Norah mentioned the manifesto (motive) of the suspect who opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Cole Thomas Allen, that the attacker had mentioned Trump’s connection to Epstein. Norah O’Donnell asked Trump about his experience with the shooting incident at the Hilton Hotel.
Trump said that he was not particularly worried and said: “I wasn’t worried”. He described it as part of a “crazy world” and said that those who had taken him under security were (the security personnel) very good people.
Then Norah O’Donnell read a portion of the manifesto: “I (Thomas) am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”
Trump said “I was waiting for you to read it because I knew you would, because you are terrible people. Very terrible people,” Trump said, “yes, he wrote. But I am not a rapist and I have not raped anyone.”
I have read this manifesto. You know, he is a sick man,” Trump added, “You read some sick man’s crap. I was linked to things that I had nothing to do with. I was completely exonerated.”
You shouldn’t have read this on ‘60 Minutes,’ you’re a disgrace, leave it now and move on. Let’s finish the interview.”
When Norah O’Donnell tried to read another part, Trump called her “you’re disgraceful.” Trump also said that he had been “totally exonerated” of such accusations.
Frustrated by this, Trump reacted sharply. He said that he was not like that and that reading this statement was “disgraceful.” Trump also said that he had already been “totally exonerated” of such accusations.
Earlier, Norah asked why JD Vance was the first to be removed from the room before Trump, why not him? To this, Trump said that he was staying there of his own free will.
He said, “I wanted to see what was going on and I wanted to know what was going on.” Trump said, “I was not nervous during the whole incident, he and his Wife Melania was lying on the floor. He described the incident as part of a “crazy world”.
Although Norah clarified that those words were not hers. But Trump said that he should not have read them on TV.
Even before that, Trump often gets angry at questions asked by the media. On April 18, during a press event in the Oval Office, he interrupted CBS News reporter Olivia Rinaldi for asking a question related to Iran and said “Out!” He was thrown out. Even then, Trump has been in the news for his harsh behavior with the media. Trump has often called the media “fake news” and “horrible people”, especially when he is asked uncomfortable questions.
