SNPNEWS.IN News (International): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has responded sharply to the accusations of Israel and America calling Iran the “No.1 terrorist state”. This statement of the Iranian President came in CGTN and other interviews from April 15, 2026 to April 17, 2026, which was also shared on the official X account of the Consulate General of Iran in Mumbai (@IRANinMumbai).
Pezeshkian said: “They call us terrorists, but they themselves are the real terrorists. They kill anyone, anywhere, whenever they want. Then they talk about human rights, it is very shameful.” The US and Israel have attacked schools, hospitals and maternity wards in Iran. Neither of them respected international law when targeting any humanitarian framework. It is very shameful and the world should see this.
Israel openly writes on its website that it will kill such and such people (assassinations), then the US and others support it and say that Iran is a stronghold of terrorists. They just say that we killed someone, while they are openly killing people and calling Iran a center of terrorism.
Pezeshkian said, “How did the US and Israel justify the war? What is Israel doing in the region? What does he do to anyone in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and other places?’ The President said, ”They (Israel and America) come and kill those they want to kill but don’t bomb innocent people, children and the elderly. They (Israel and America) are killing many people in the name of preventing Iran from making nuclear weapons and human rights activists are completely silent. What is the UN doing, where is international law?”
In another statement, according to the Iranian news agency ISNA, President Pezeshkian asked a sharp question: “We did not kill anyone in a terrorist manner. Tell me, which innocent person did we kill?” “Trump says that Iran cannot use its nuclear rights, but he does not say for what crime. Who are they to deprive a country of its rights?”
The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency said that Iran’s naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz continues and that Iranian armed forces on Sunday turned back two more oil tankers attempting to pass through the waterway.
Tasnim said that the tankers, flying the flags of Botswana and Angola (both African countries), were trying to pass through Hormuz, but were forced to change course and retreat due to timely action by Iranian security forces.
‘Iran Consulate General of the I.R. in Mumbai’ has tweeted that we have also stopped a Chinese bulk carrier ‘Sun Profit’ and forced it to turn back. Along with this, the tweet has said that contrary to common belief, we are not giving anyone, including China, a smooth passage.
